With over two decades of experience in nursing, Joseph Wade is a Licensed Nurse and a Qualified Mental Health Professional for adults. His journey began in 2001 when he earned his first nursing license, embarking on a mission to provide compassionate and expert care to his community. Over the years, Joseph has gained diverse experience in various healthcare settings, including long-term care, acute care, and mental health communities throughout the region.

Joseph's leadership skills have shone brightly throughout his career, as he has successfully led numerous units and teams within different healthcare agencies. He is known for his advocacy within the healthcare community, championing the cause of delivering high-quality healthcare services to all individuals.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Joseph is a multifaceted individual with a rich array of interests. He has a deep appreciation for language arts studies and continually works on enhancing his French-speaking capabilities, fostering connections with individuals from various linguistic backgrounds. Joseph is also an accomplished artist, finding inspiration in the world of music. Meet Dustin Wade, BSHA, LPN, QMHP-A/C, our dedicated Director of Clinical Operations and Site Manager at Abraxas Home Care (AHC). Hailing from the charming town of Prince George, Virginia, Dustin Wade has been a pillar of the healthcare community since 2008. With a career spanning over a decade, Dustin's professional journey has been nothing short of remarkable.

Throughout his career, Dustin has made a significant impact in various healthcare settings across the Richmond area. His experience ranges from the fast-paced world of acute care, where he honed his skills and expertise, to the compassionate realm of long-term care. Dustin has even ventured into the homes of patients, providing exceptional care for those undergoing total heart replacements, intensive wound care, and managing LVADs.

In addition to his diverse experience, Dustin's dedication to his profession led him to the Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU, where he provided complex and compassionate care to young patients facing unique health challenges. His commitment to patient well-being extends beyond clinical settings as he has also served in the special education department as a contract nurse, offering one-on-one care to children with specialized needs.

Dustin's extensive knowledge, unwavering dedication, and genuine compassion make him an invaluable asset to our team at Abraxas Home Care (AHC). His leadership as Director of Clinical Operations and Site Manager reflects our commitment to delivering top-notch healthcare services to our community. 

Moreover, Dustin holds certifications to teach adult education, specializing in medication aide, PCA, Nursing assistant, CPR TOVA, and a wide range of other healthcare-related topics. His dedication to education and training ensures that our team at Abraxas Home Care (AHC) is always up-to-date with the latest advancements in healthcare.

But that's not all. Dustin's career has also seen him providing person-centered care to the community for the past 7 years. He began his journey as a sponsored residential provider at Abraxas Home Care (AHC), working tirelessly to support individuals with unique needs. With hard work and dedication, he worked his way up to obtaining a 4-bed group home license, further expanding his capacity to make a difference in the lives of those he serves. 

Over the past 5 years, Dustin has been providing complex support to waiver recipients at Abraxas Home Care (AHC) who require intense, specialized care. His commitment to tailoring care to the specific needs and preferences of each individual reflects his unwavering dedication to person-centered care.
