At Abraxas Home Care, our Evening and Weekend Community Engagement Program is designed to enrich lives by creating meaningful connections within the Chesterfield and Richmond metro area. We offer a variety of activities from 5 PM to 9 PM on weekdays and throughout the weekend, focusing on your interests and preferences. These activities take place in natural settings, giving you the chance to engage with others in your community, beyond just those who provide support.
We provide services in small groups across the Chesterfield and Richmond metro area, tailored to fit your unique needs and desires. Our Program Coordinator and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) work closely with you to create and adjust your plan, ensuring it reflects what matters most to you. You’re encouraged to be as independent as possible and continue to learn new skills. With your input, we design a flexible schedule of activities matched with community DSPs, using scheduling tools to make sure your experiences are both enjoyable and meaningful.
